Soliloquy Bridal Couture carries a number of exclusive lines you will not find anywhere else in the Washington, D.C. metro area. We continue to build a collection of extraordinary and sensational gowns from the most innovative and dynamic couture designers in the bridal industry. When you are ready to visit us, please call for an appointment or email us, and we will schedule you at the next available time that is convenient for you. Walk-ins will be accommodated based on consultant availability. Our team of consultants will offer you an exceptional bridal gown selection experience.

Orders
Plan on placing your gown order six to 12 months before your wedding to allow time for fitting(s) and alterations. Any orders placed less than four months before the wedding requires a rush fee. Rush charges and other fees vary among designers.
Pricing
If you purchase your bridal gown at Soliloquy Bridal Couture, we offer a client loyalty program that provides discounts on accessories and other merchandise. You will also receive exclusive invitations to special events throughout the year. Otherwise, we are unable to offer discounts. Many designers do not allow discounting of their creations, and we value our relationship with them, as well. We do not want to risk losing a collection because we did not uphold our agreement with these talented artists who are designing gowns to adorn you. To protect the proprietary relationship of our designers, we will not discuss prices over the phone or send gown prices by email. Please request an appointment so we can spend time with you and answer any questions you may have.
Trunk Shows
A Trunk Show may be just where you find the dress of your desire. Since we are not always able to purchase a designer's entire collection, we host trunk shows to provide you additional designs within a designer's collection. Many times, you will get to meet the designer and/or a representative and request customized changes to a gown that will be uniquely yours - your exclusive soliloquy. Designers love trunk shows because they get direct feedback on style and fit from brides. We generally have special offers or discounts during trunk shows. Appointments are required because trunk shows are popular with brides and spaces are limited. This is a perfect time to shop for a gown, particularly if there is a specific designer you like.
Bridesmaids Dresses
We recommend that you order your bridesmaids dresses all at once and at least five months prior to your wedding. Ordering the dresses at the same time ensures that they are all made with fabric from the same dye lot. It takes the designers approximately 3-4 months to fulfill your custom order. However, you need to allow time for fitting(s) and alterations. We will work with each of your bridesmaids to collect the required information. Rush orders and fees vary among designers.
Similar guidelines apply to dresses for Mothers of the Occasion and flower girls.
Sample Sales
We hold Sample Sales a few times a year. The dresses in our stores are samples for you to try as you are making your gown selection. Once you make a selection, we take your measurements and order a dress that is custom-fit for you. When we make purchases from a designers new collection, we may sell dresses from our exisiting inventory to make way for new gowns. These sample gowns are sold at significant discounts, up to 70% off the regular price. Alterations, cleaning and pressing of sample gowns are an extra fee. This is another great way to purchase a gown if a sample you like becomes available at a discount.
