Dear Soliloquy Clients and Guests,
As we continue to navigate this pandemic environment, our procedures have been adjusted to ensure a safe and secure environment. While procedures are different, we are working to ensure you get the #soliloquyexperience we are known to provide. To ensure that experience is the same for you, please carefully read the information below.
Bridal Gown Appointments
We will be taking limited appointments each day and throughout the week to ensure that we are following cleaning and disinfectant guidelines by the CDC and maintaining social distancing and other requirements as directed by the state of Virginia.
We will be accepting only one appointment at a time and are limiting guests to the BRIDE PLUS TWO in the month of
January. For the JANUARY SALE weekend, we are limiting to bride plus one in anticipation of a higher number of appointments for the sale event. There will be no exceptions to this at this time.
We will allow video-conferencing (Facetime, Zoom, etc.) for others you invite to join you.
We appreciate your understanding and consideration for the health and well-being of our customers and our team.
Appointment Request Days are: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please try to request appointments at least 24 hours in advance as same-day appointments are generally more difficult to accommodate.
Masks are required for each person at the appointment, including the consultant. Bride will be allowed to remove the mask at key moments to assess her look and when not facing the consultant. Only bride and the consultant will touch the garments. Social distancing will be maintained.
Before and after you leave we have a procedure in place to clean and disinfect the boutique, including dressing rooms, waiting area, and the gowns and fabric headpieces.
Our staff will be wearing masks and/or gloves for mutual protection. We hope you won’t be offended that we can’t give you a hug. We miss being able to do that particularly during this very emotional time.
We are also spacing out our appointments to limit interaction with other customers so we ask that you arrive on time so we can maintain our schedule. Additionally, we are limiting your guests to two persons out of an abundance of caution. And this is very important as well - if you have changed your wedding date, please let us know so we can update our records and adjust our alterations schedule.
Our gowns are made in America and our designer has established a production plan that allows her team to continue working according to the CDC and state and local government guidelines. Our dresses are arriving as scheduled. Typical delivery times are 4-6 months depending on the gown style. However, rush orders are available for bridal gowns.
Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, and Mothers
Appointments are limited to bride plus two bridesmaids at a time during this phase.
Most times, these decisions can be made by looking at the styles on-line, particularly if you have limited time. We are happy to work with you by phone to discuss color and style options. However, please note that these are made-to-order styles and cannot be returned or exchanged so you need to be confident of your selections. All bridesmaids styles are currently estimated at 14 weeks delivery and no rush requests at this time. Delivery for flowergirls and mothers vary depending on the designer.
We are operating by appointment only. We will only be the boutique during scheduled appointments. The best way to reach us is by email - firstname.lastname@example.org. We are checking emails regularly and will respond as soon as possible.
Spring and Summer 2021 Weddings
We highly recommend that you shop now and get your gown and other attire ordered since we are experiencing a another wave of COVID-19. We know this is difficult and uncertain time for everyone involved but what’s most important is that you and your family are safe and well. We are confident in handling this detail for you.
