Covid-19 Information

Dear Soliloquy Clients,

We are all navigating the coronavirus pandemic as directed by federal and state regulations.  On 3/23/20, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam put additional restrictions on non-essential businesses who are unable to adhere to social distancing rules. In order to fulfill our commitment to #soliloquybrides getting married in May and June, we have established a plan of action to ensure the safety of all involved when you are in the boutique.  Please carefully read the information below regarding alterations, regular appointments and special orders.

Alterations
Our staff will be wearing gloves and/or masks for mutual protection.  We hope you won’t be offended that we can’t give you a hug. We miss being able to do that particularly during this very emotional time.

We are also spacing out our appointments to limit interaction with other customers so we ask that you arrive on  time so we can maintain our schedule. Additionally, we are limiting your guest to one person out of an abundance of caution.
And this is very important as well - if you have changed your wedding date, please let us know so we can update our records and adjust our alterations schedule.

New Bridal Appointments

We are only accepting new bridal appointments if you have an imminent wedding date and are ready to make a purchase. Our gowns are made in America and our designer has established a production plan that allows her team to continue working according to the CDC and government guidelines.  Our dresses are arriving as scheduled.  Additionally, if you have identified a dress at our boutique from a previous appointment with us, you may request an appointment to make a purchase. You are limited to one guest during your appointment time and we will ask you to take all safety precautions including washing your hands before and after the appointment. Before and after you leave we have a procedure in place to clean and disinfect the boutique, including dressing rooms, waiting area, and the gowns themselves.

Note:  In cases where you have already selected a dress with us, we can also conduct the sales transaction by phone.   We will discuss sizing with you at that time and put your dress into production. If you are still shopping around and are uncertain about style or silhouette, we ask that you delay your appointment with us until after April 25th.  This will allow us to provide you with the Soliloquy Experience for which we are known.

Bridesmaids, Flower Girls, and Mothers

Most times, these decisions can be made by looking at the styles on-line, particularly if you have limited time.  We are happy to work with you by phone to discuss color and style options. However, please note that these are made-to-order styles and cannot be returned or exchanged so you need to be confident of your selections. All of these styles take 12-14 weeks and no rush requests from these designers are being accepted during the COVID-19 crisis.

Accessories

We can still order accessories for you so just give us a call and we can assist you. Currently, our accessories designers are still operating under standard production/shipping times.

Boutique Hours

We are not operating our standard hours under the circumstances. The best way to reach us is by email - contact@soliloquybridal.com.  We are checking emails regularly and will respond as soon as possible.

Summer and Fall Weddings

If we have not called you, rest assured we have checked on the status of our gown and all is well.  We have been reaching out to our April - early June brides, primarily, to assist them as needed. Since many of them have postponed weddings until the Fall, we are working to adjust our alterations schedule to accommodate the changes.  We are fine and staying on top of the daily changes and will communicate with you as necessary. As always, you are welcomed to reach out if you have any questions or just need reassurance.

We at Soliloquy have you and your family in our prayers.  We hope you do the same for us. We know this is difficult for everyone involved but what’s most important is that you and your family are safe and well.

Many blessings,

Miriam
